Accessibility statement.
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use gridandgigabit.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, voice control or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we do
- Semantic page structure with headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link.
- Full keyboard access with a visible focus outline on links, buttons and form fields.
- Labeled form fields, with errors announced to assistive technology and focus moved to the first field that needs attention.
- Text and interface colors checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Pages that reflow on small screens and at up to 400% zoom, and that respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
- Decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
- Automated testing with axe-core plus manual checks, last done October 29, 2026.
Known limitations
We haven’t reached full conformance yet. Here’s what we know about:
- Moving content. The home page has a scrolling ticker and a small animated pixel game. Both are decorative and hidden from screen readers. The ticker pauses while you hover over it. Neither has a dedicated pause button yet. If your device is set to reduce motion, the animation stops.
- Screen reader testing. The site hasn’t had a full manual review with VoiceOver, NVDA or JAWS yet. Some announcements may be less clear than we’d like.
- Third-party services. Payments run on Stripe’s hosted checkout and web fonts load from Google Fonts. We don’t control how accessible those services are.
